@terrysteachingtidbits: Who else STRUGGLES with this first place value standard for 5th grade numbers in base ten?! This standard was the MAIN REASON I created this place value chart. I could not figure out how to get them to SEE the relationship between the value of a digit in one place compared to the same digit in another place. I hope this makes it easier!
