When my cousin from Australia came to visit she was AMAZED by the squirrels. she bought a disposable camera for her visit and when she got the pictures developed we were cracking up because it was 90% squirrels

You don't get it, we don't have those majestic creatures in the uk lol if you guys went to the uk, you'd be just as amazed to find out we have giant wild hedgehogs 😂 that you regularly have to assist off the road to not get squashed.

I worked at a sanctuary in South Africa & the 2 most popular animals were the raccoons and squirrels. People would travel for them! Like you have lions but they wanted these guys

Two European friends in Montreal told me there was a bear on the roof. In le Plateau. I laughed. They said seriously. I kept laughing, saying there was no bear on the roof. Finally we figured out it was a raccoon. Fun memories.

I have a large raccoon family that frequents my yard. I didn't realize until recently that they're native to the Americas. I kinda feel sorry for others who don't grow up with trash pandas in their life😅
