Blaschka models in museums around the world were part of my PhD dissertation. Fun fact: in many collections they're on the priority lists to be rescued in case of a museum emergency!

I'd like to also highlight how the modern glass colouring is in the hands of chemists. The fact that these guys knew how to craft the glass AND how to colour it so accurately that it was good enough for science, is truly out of this world.
