basement parking structures are required to have drainage systems to manage water accumulation and prevent this from happening. Hope the garage is well insured.

This happened to me in Denver. You should be getting payouts from renter’s insurance, car insurance, the apartment complex, and maybe even city water service depending on the root cause of the flood. I’m so sorry this happened to you!

Yall. These places DO have drains. It’s just the fact that our drain systems sewage systems what ever are not made to handle 10 inches of rain in not even 12 hours. Plus that garage is a low spot so water likes to do what? Flow to low spots!
