It’s the human wildlife project. He records people just like a wildlife photographer. Just stands and observes how people act without interacting with them. Its a project on the Hawthorne effect which is a thesis that people modify their behavior when they know they are being recorded completely legal btw

I love how these people are "complaining" but they never seem to complain about the cameras being put up everywhere by the government agencies to watch and track them. No, the dude standing with the camera is the one that bothers them. SMH.

"that is not public"... legally yes, is a restaurant has a permit for sidewalk/street side dining that area is NOT public. but it's within public view, which makes it free game
