This is why people struggle to take Catholicism seriously. "God is literally there" at mass... guess what, He is literally there every day, every time, every place with you. Your worship is in daily life, not just in what you call "Mass". And for non-Catholic Christians, are they committing a grave sin every week? I believe salvation can be lost when being in a consistent state of disobedience to God's will but I fail to see where God commands us to do Mass in the way that Catholics do it.

100% agree. God said, "Keep the sabbath holy. If you truly believe, the most important thing in your life is doing just that. Skipping church to watch football, rest, do whatever is a demonstration that you do not keep the sabbath, do not actually believe the word of god. A true believer would be there every week.

Hey so I’m a confirmed catholic and we don’t believe missing mass is a grave sin. It’s called obligation. Going to mass is a symptom of being saved, it’s not a requirement. Thanks
