Mount Afadja, popularly known as Mount Afadjato, is the highest mountain in Ghana, standing at 885 meters (2,904 feet) above sea level. It is located in the Volta Region, near the towns of Liati Wote and Gbledi, close to the Ghana–Togo border. Despite being the highest in Ghana, it is relatively easy to hike and attracts many visitors for its lush scenery, panoramic views, and proximity to cultural villages and waterfalls, including the nearby Tagbo Falls. The mountain is part of the Akwapim-Togo Range and is rich in biodiversity, with tropical plants, butterflies, and birds along the trail.
