This is unbelievably good in theory. But in practice, it would require cocoercion. And coercion breeds corruption. Whereas a social democratic mixed-market economy with a strong welfare state and safety net for all with progressive taxation and good quality regulation, but a free market with functioning competition, has invariably worked better than any alternative thus far tried. The problems with modern crony corporatism in both the US and China are as fixable as the problems with over-regulation within the EU. Somewhere between Singapore and the Scandis would be a great aim.

capitalism is the best economic system we have right now socialism is a good idea but with every society that tries to implement it like the Soviets and the Chinese it's failed and they needed to at least add some capitalism in to get it running so just combining capitalism and socialism is the best way to go instead of just having one or the other

Like i get the hope and something definitly needs to be done but all system are all subject to abuse and exploitation. There is no way to legislate the cruelty out of people who would rather exploit others and let them die. Every system and everything we could build will have this fall through. Communism also had is glory days of cruelty, there is no perfect solution and that is an important part of the conversation. yes we need change, but expecting this utopian society that easily fixes all the damage is a disconnect with reality.
