Here’s an example of what making a dessert with quality ingredients looks like and how you can do the same. The ingredients: • 3 eggs, separated • 500g mascarpone • Ladyfingers (savoiardi) • Sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract • Decaf espresso for dipping All whole food, no junk. All can fit into hitting elite health goals. The steps: 1. Separate eggs - whites in one bowl, yolks in another 2. Create a zabaglione by whisking yolks with sugar over a bain-marie until pale and creamy 3. Whip egg whites with sugar into a glossy meringue 4. Gently fold the meringue into the mascarpone-yolk mixture for that signature airy texture 5. Quick-dip ladyfingers in espresso (don’t oversoak!) 6. Layer: coffee-soaked savoiardi, then mascarpone cream, repeat 7. Chill for 2-3 hours to set 8. Finish with a generous dusting of cocoa powder No bake, all bliss.
