@3dauto_aylmer: Update on the no start Chev Cruz @Ben's Card's 🇨🇦 @Baz Meredith 🤙🏻 @🔧🖤Feminauto🖤🔧 @visav010 @checkenginechuck @W Howie I really don't know where to go next. Did the power and ground load test with the #loadcage and found no issues. Possibly I'll scope the cam crank sensors, or just replace them for the cost of it... It's such a random intermittent no start that I just don't have time to fuddle with it.

Any codes setting? Voltage drop test both negative and small positive cable hot and cold. Anything over 100 mv for positive cable or 200 mv for negative cable needs replacement. Any engine data readings skewed? Check ECT sensor at water outlet have seen corrosion in connection and wick coolant up to ECM. There is a ground on the cylinder head that when it gets hot the heat shrink glue gets under the eyelet and causes a bad connection can’t remember if that was a 1.4L or 1.5L. Just throwing out some ideas.

check ECM connectors for coolant contamination. it can wick up from the temp sensor and cause all kinds of headaches

Did you try a wiggle test when it’s acting up with a test light on one of the ground circuits?

like I said Google says very rare but it is possible the emmisions code could have somthing to do with it as in a plugged cat so it won't let it run to prevent damage by exhaust not being able to get out

Only one ground on the ECM? I would double check for another. Next, if it is a power issue, connection J114 would be my first attack, after confirming spark with no power at the injectors.

I had that issue on an old Chevy van (77’) . The ground issue I had with that was the ground wire at the ignition switch in the dash . Van would run for a bit then shut down . It would start up right away . Took along time to find that one .

what has helped in the past on intermitted issues is run the scanner Data Logger recording as much as you can and see if you can see what drops out may help pinpoint the issue

Any loose terminals at battery junction block. I tried to zoom in it looks like it has had the updated negative cable. Does it only happen when hot after driving or will it happen cold sitting overnight?

Possible body ground. Like the ecm going into limp, maybe why the fan is still running. I don’t remember if you checked it in the other videos.

had a focus once that had a bad ground in the a.c pressure sensing circuit. would shut engine down every time the defrosted or ac was turned on. It was a bugger to find.

Nice you got that load tester, should help with diagnosing later on easier 😎🤘🤘🤘
