get a rubber roofing kit!! much much cheaper than reroofing. you can put OSB boards on the top (rip the rubbish that's there currently off!) and then use the rubber roof kit on top. I just reroofed my garage using this and have had no issues (and plenty of storms to test it!)

You’re spending all this money on the house and yet you’re saying that you thought it was a tarpaulin roof. The problem you’ve got now is that the water will ingress and that will cause more mould.

babe I know you're excited to make your house all pretty and move in but trust me you gotta make sure to fix these issues and check for any others cause that stuff can ruin all the hard work. Maybe it's a bit more money but get it checked w/ a pro you dont want to mess around w/ roof leaks. You got this ♥️

Given you don’t have a ceiling I would suggest looking into maybe tar sealing. They usually do it under shingles and sometimes around wood work. Also dont forget insulation protection like plastic covers later on during heating if you do eventually get a ceiling installed. Good luck girly!
