Former livestock company owner… It’s not an easy lifestyle. Definitely not for the faint of heart. Animals get sick, injured and attacked by wild animals. And you can’t always prevent these things however, you take care of it when it happens. It’s the lifestyle. I agree. It’s not always a cute little pony show.

Farm and ranch life can get UGLYYYY. A few months ago I had to take my dad’s farm dog (he wasn’t even a year old yet) to the vet and I ended up having to put him down. It can be beautiful and it can be UGLY. Nobody truly understands unless you live that life🤎

animals are very smart. I have a blind dog. he has mapped out the backyard which is fence in. the whole inside of the house an the front yard an knows not to go near the road. but we still watch him tho. horses 🐎 r no different. 👍

Having livestock and horses is not for the faint of hearts. My son showed lambs at our fair, one year a lamb got circling disease in which most unalive. It went blind so we worked with the back up lamb. With the help of the vet taking fast action we were able to save him and he won at the fair
