Absolutely not. Just put that money towards your debt until you can comfortably afford to go.

If you’re in $14,000 in cc debt, probably don’t bank on 1400 lasting 14 days

Comments are so out of touch. I have spent under $2K on multiple Europe trips, including flights and accommodation. This is completely possible.

It’s definitely enough. Just make a daily budget

Meh. Not really. Austria is very expensive. Also thats like 100$ per day. Trains alone would be 25% of that. So no shopping. Or eating out in guess. I think you need at least twice as much.

$1400 is enough in the event that no emergency happens. Since you’re planning on going to three different countries I personally would feel not very comfortable with only $1400 because in the event a flight gets canceled or you miss a flight or accomodation gets messed up you need a way to pay for the changes

Ways to save: eating out less. I personally just grab breakfast snacks and don't eat out for breakfast. Less excursions and more free activities like parks, museums, etc.

Don’t listen to them baby $1400 is plenty if you budgeted it. I hope you have the best time. Don’t let these bitter people convince you that you can’t still do fun things that feed your soul while you’re paying off dead 💗

it's very risky, I recently went to Europe and accidentally spent $400 on a bus ticket and ferry, I had booked it on the wrong days and couldn't get my money back till I landed back in the states. I didn't have much money left after that and still had two more weeks.

Absolutely I do a study abroad for 2 1/2 weeks and then travel Europe and for legs of the trip try to spend as little as possible. I think it’s a it’s important to set out a few indulgences with that money and then do what you can especially if the tours are paid for. Yes I got protein bars, and an items at the store which was way cheaper than eating out and so I’d only eat out once a day and a lot of times that was budget friendly and a few times it was a nicer dinner cause I think that’s important but I could go I went whole days spending less than €30

You’ll be fine. As long as you aren’t planning to do a lot of shopping, or splurging on food and plan to take public transport. That’s what I spent roughly in 2 weeks between Berlin & Copenhagen. I spent probably double that in Berlin London and Prague but I was shopping a lot!!
