Vagus nerve exercises! It’s the only thing that resets me even if it’s only for a bit 🙃

Unfortunately the only thing is to workout like I just walk for an hour sweat profusely and it completely resets my internal thermometer and I’m good the rest of the day ): but I can’t always do it

Anyone else feel the sensation of it coming on??? My body gets this tingly prickly sensation as the heat or cold happens. It’s so weird. And mine only happens at night when I’m sleeping like if I shift positions. Whyyyyy😫 help explain it to me!!!

Im chronically under temperature so layers is key. (My temp is 97.0-97.5 on the daily. Doctors aren’t really sure why . 98.9-99.0 is a fever for me . By 102 I’m delirious)

Vagus nerve work, tongue exercises, and scheduling multiple times during the day to purposely sweat and purposely getting my heart rate up. The above mentioned helps keep multiple dysautonomia diagnoses under control.

My ideal temp is when I’ll get a little cold without a light blanket and sweater if I’m not doing anything, cuz then if I get up and do something, I’ll only start to overheat a little and then just sit without the blanket until I’m cold again

I’ve become desensitized to the irregulation. As long as it’s not causing pain or other symptoms I just deal with it 😭😭

Low histamine diet has made a HUGE difference with this for me! I “cheated” yesterday and had ice cream for the first time in 8 months and have been struggling with temperature deregulation for the last 24 hours 🙄

Consistent, and adequate nutrient conception! Eating an appropriate amount for your caloric needs and doing so consistently is one of the ways that I have found cause I really struggle with chronic illness and temperature regulation, actually making sure I eat helps!

I live in shorts in a t-shirt all day at home AND to bed. I haven’t worn pants to bed in literally like a year, unless it’s like -40. Even then I sleep with a blanket but I ALWAYS have my fan on and I probably also always have the window open.

AC set to 69 degrees and running all night, fuzzy throw blanket then a breathable fluffy duvet. If I get too hot I’ll roll the duvet off and the fuzzy blanket prevents me from getting too cold. And somehow anytime I get too cold my cat lays on me. Then I sleep with a partner who is freezing all the time. I fear this is highly specific but man it’s been working so… haha🤷🏻‍♀️
