The best was the live action down in Manti. Salt Lake live action was OK, but Manti had that folksy charm to it. That guy what played Satan there in the 90s was the BEST!

These traditions that use theater require a participant to “play” these roles. There’s a man that plays God the Father but he’s just a man. This dilutes every “thus sayeth the Lord” scripture in Mormonism. It was just Joseph Smith speaking for the Lord the way the man does in this video.
