They never roll out control by calling it control. First they pick a real problem, online scams, child exploitation, cybercrime. Then they present a ‘solution’, ID-verified access. People agree, thinking it’s temporary, thinking it only targets the bad guys. But infrastructure, once built, doesn’t go away. When they own the key to your online existence, the definition of ‘bad guy’ is whatever they say it is. And one day, that might be you.
