DC is federally operated and under direct federal control. It only officially got a mayor back in the 70s. Trump didn’t create new laws, he’s using his full legal authority to make our Great Nation’s capital Clean, Safe, Secure. He’s also waiting for other cities to declare states of emergency which some have already began to consider to formally ask for federal assistance in cleaning up their cities as well. This isn’t a dictatorship. This isn’t fascism. This is the underbelly of America people got too comfortable not fully enforcing. These people go too comfortable with freedom they forget what enforcement looks like and called it oppression when they pushed too hard, and the weight of authority came swinging back with greater force.
