people just refuse to accept harnesses encourage pulling if the dog isn't trained not to pull on the harness, harnesses were made for sled dogs

your dog hasn't learned not to pull because it's bad; it's learned not to pull because it hurts/it's uncomfortable. a harness is just as good if you train your dog

You need to clip the leash to the front of the harness! That way when they pull they turn themselves. It makes a world of a difference!
