To be fair, not all men do this. For example, my ex husband used to volunteer to go to the grocery store! (So he could meet up with his mistress there and they could fool around in the parking lot.)

My husband does 95% of grocery shopping. If your husband is bad at it, make him do it more, not less. Also if they text you at the store where something is say “I’m not there, as an employee” or “you’re an adult figure it out.”

Don't call him out. Double down. Act concerned. Tell him you're worried he has dementia. Call his doctor and tell them he's showing signs of cognitive decline. Let him explain to a medical professional why he struggles with basic tasks
