When baking for oil or butter, you can use applesauce instead. 1:1 ratio. I do it all the time just because it’s healthier

Butter crisco. Or lard with butter extract. Not going to taste the same but good for an emergency. I use it in my remote Alaska cabin

I use butter flavored crisco for baking. shelf stable, lasts forever once opened. Won't take up freezer space :)

We use Auguson Farms powdered butter, cheese, peanut butter etc. off Amazon (it does go on sale) when we are in a pinch!

Any oil, apple sauce or other fruit puree, yogurt- depends on the recipe. Anything that adds creamy moisture- even mayo and flour mixed. It sounds wierd but it works.
