Ephialtes (if the name is even real) was probably a farmer from around there and wasnt a soldier. Tbf we dont know either way so 😂 But I do believe the farmer thing makes a bit more sense, I doubt any Greeks who had decided to stand up against Persia actually defected very often (which was only like 32 city-states not counting the ones who jumped in at the end)
