Seems like it’s on the margins but it is a quite pivotal role, and goes to show why the Western bourgeoisie puts cultural emphasis on meat+leather.

the parallels in Wretched of the Earth to the west bank, specifically the militarization of the settler population to create "plausible deniability" shows that colonialism never changed (even post-ww2)
