@gremlinchet: To be clear, this is not a dig against Guatemalan shirts. I want my fellow vendors to do well, as long as they are selling goods that represent real craftsmanship and quality. I just can't imagine going up to another vendor and saying "well, it's just your time, so no big deal." as if their time isn't valuable and their products aren't also representative of material costs, developed skill, and wear and tear on their bodies. (Please note that vendors selling low-quality products, eg. AI slop, the infamous flexidragon and its cousins, or drop shipped, factory-made stuff in this, are not included in this sentiment. those vendors have no place in shows featuring handmade goods.) #vendor #handmadecraft #handmadegifts #artshow #artistsoftiktok
