If im mistaken, cool, but if I hear someone say "mid," I will assume its "middle of the road" or "middle", cause you know. Mid is short for middle. So if you give it a 7/10 and then call it Mid. Wtf does that even mean??

This is the problem with reviews. I understand what Tony is saying. In this nerd community, there are often too many expectations and wishes surrounding shows and movies. Many fans go into a film or series with preconceived theories and expectations, and when things don’t unfold as they hoped, they feel disappointed and label it as “mid.” Wakanda is not just about the Black Panther; it's much more than that. There's still plenty of opportunity to explore the Black Panther's story in due time. I wish people would simply enjoy a show for what it is, rather than criticize it for what is not there.

I thibk you are misunderstanding him. His video was about using the word “mid” cuz mid means average. The guy in the other video gave it a higher score then what “mid” is defined as. The issue is how the word “mid” is just improperly used

I like tony but like..... but sometimes his takes and call outs are uhm, concerningly bad. he also has a genuine problem with bringing race into topics that don't even include and it makes it hard to watch him sometimes. I hope he sees your vid and makes some changes because it's kinda getting a little outa hand

I don't think it's critique that is correct because he had an expectation that wasn't fulfilled and the show wasn't about his expectation. to critique the show would be what is contained in the show not what that particular person wanted to see in the show. hopefully they'll make a show about the past Black Panthers and wakanda. but that show was about the war dogs and stories of them getting their stuff back

Just going off the title, Eyes of Wakanda is focusing on the "order" that was created to search and infiltrate other nations to protect Wakanda's interest. it doesn't seem like a Black Panther focused story for its purpose. I did watch the episodes and it followed this theme. it may not be as I have received it.
