@stoutridgeranch: A few years ago I started going to antique stores and shows. I didn’t know then it would turn into one of my favorite hobbies! I used to be a Marshall’s & Hobby Lobby connoisseur (don’t get me wrong, I still go) but their decor lacked the character and quality I was always searching for. In a fast paced society, antiquing is a way to slow down and get creative. You won’t find your dream decor right away. It might take months of searching! There’s no next day delivery, just an on going hunt and extreme satisfaction when you finally find the perfect piece. The depth of history each piece holds makes it even more special. A beautiful crafted table that a farm family ate 100’s of dinners at. A framed picture that someone got their mom for Christmas. A hand painted vase that held more wild flower bouquets than we’ll ever know. If you have never tried antiquing I highly recommend it. It’s so fun and you’ll find yourself unlocking a part of your mind that you didn’t even know was there! This video was taken at the Bouckville antique show in NY (one of the largest in the country). It’s going on all week- go check it out! #antique #antiques #vintage #secondhand
I didn’t go bc I knew I would spend too much……. Next year

We just got our nesting boxes at an antique shop! I just posted a sneak peak. Such a smart idea for a farmhouse and so affordable. Easy way to ad character too 🤩🤍
