This feels like a criticism of the misapplication of intersectionality that are very common in popular discourse, which is also to say it's supportive of true intersection. Intersectionality is not additive or multiplicative, its alchemical. Which is to say black women don't "suffer from racism and sexism", they suffer from the intersection of racism and sexism. Gendered racism or racial sexism. But black men also have gendered racism and racial sexism. All racism is gendered in a society where all people are gendered because you cannot disentangle people from their intersections.
