this reads like a scapegoat message "rabbits were surrendered to me" she either was completely caught off guard with being given them (0%) or was 100% into it until she realized the extent of care that goes into rabbits. and it reads like the former, i would 100 not trust or buy into the branding that used them and blamed the 19yo

As a rabbit owner - rescued - this is why unfortunately I campaign in my state to make it illegal to buy and sell rabbits and Guinea pigs to the general public. People have NO IDEA how to care for these fast breeding creatures. They require special vets, special housing and diets. They need to require licensing- most pets should. It is a privilege not a right to care for animals.

There is a little area in the town my parents are at now where you will see little black, spotted, and brown domestic rabbits everywhere. like over 15 hanging out on just one person's lawn. It is insane to think that a few people's decisions led to a towns takeover essentially

If she truly cared about the rabbits, she wouldn't have threatened to sue the very people trying to find them after they went missing from her shoot by sliding into their DMs- she would have gotten involved. Instead, she filmed a dangerous TikTok stunt, holding a rabbit on its back nearly dropping it in NYC traffic with a leash around its neck. She's lucky that rabbit didn't die. Now she's suddenly acting 'nice, after being called out when she was openly hostile to the people who were actually rescuing the rabbits from her shoot. Brat! The PR damage control on this is so wild. An impromptu shoot does not have a Hair Stylist, an assistant, a photographer, a MakeUp Artist and Rabbits secured beforehand. That's called pre-production. You can't legally use random rabbits in a shoot without a permit or a qualified animal handler — which is why they're calling it 'impromptu, to dodge responsibility for animal endangerment. Grabbing random rabbits without knowing their temperament puts both the public and the animals at risk. These are prey animals. They spook easily, and one bolt into traffic could cause tragedy. The only reason no one was hurt and no rabbits died is pure luck. This level of negligence from so-called 'animal lovers' is unacceptable.

I was not even aware of this fiasco. Thank you. This tells me everything I need to know about anyone involved. How would one not see any animal and get excited and want to know who the animals are? What are their names? Where did they come from? Where do they live? What are their stories. Where are they going? The ignorance and lack of compassion of some people is just hardening.
