Buy a cheap crock pot (thrift stores always have them) that will never be for food again, put the hardware in it for a couple hours to soften the paint. You can put a bit of washing soda in the water but I'm honestly usually too lazy, most paints don't need it. Take pieces out one by one to scrub with a stiff brush/steel wool/scrubby sponge, try different ones to see what fits these exact pieces best.

Part of that is nicotine & the glue. We had similar with our kitchen. When it heated up glue would literally seap down cabinets, walls, etc. it was horrible 😭😭😭
