I see these couplings every day but somehow asian guys only talk about it when the guys is white and girl is asian.. Just look around, extremely rich dudes often date women who could be their daughters but within their own race. It only sticks out because of racial differences. And I don’t see men talk about this relationship dynamics at all most of them envy them💀

my mum was a bar girl in Bangkok and I will never ever look down on dancers or s workers because my mum chose well, married well and we've had amazing lives in Australia. my real Thai dad was a dead beat unfortunately.

It isn’t a “thing”. It’s a social/economic/education/opportunity difference. Twenty years back you would see this in China as well, today those kinds of laowei can’t even afford to travel anymore, they’re looked down upon. If SEA [Philippines, Thailand notably] had more opportunities for its citizens, this stuff would wean away. Malaysia and Vietnam have massively improved in this respect over the years.
