I use this all the time. It won’t take the paint off the drywall if you allow the tape to flex as you’re pulling it off. If you take say a poster and rip it straight off everything‘s coming off. if you pull down slowly on the poster and allow the tape underneath the flex you will have no problem

it's great but it in fact does take paint, plaster, and drywall off especially if it's been there for more than a few days

Teachers don’t do it I use that stuff last year and I was scraping and scrubbing trying to get that stuff off my wall. I used it from a wall. I used to run a white erase board.
