did you recently lose weight? sometimes weighloss can trigger hair shedding! Also this is going to sound crazy but getting a trim will help you ends keep the length once it starts growing in!

stress or trauma your hair has a 6 months delay to that. it will hold and all start falling out 6 months later. I had this i lost half my hair from trauma

it could be telogen effluvium! It happened to me a few months after a traumatic event. Derm told me it would stop on its own & it did!
