lived in the DC area from 2018 to 2023. never had a issue. once I thought I heard gunfire, called 911, in about 90 seconds I hd 10 police cars surround my location, they interviewed me,l and begin a search grid. They found some kids with firecrackers 2 blocks away. the city is safer now according to statistics. biggest threat to this area are the residents of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and the cronies they associate with.
