i thankfully didn’t end up needing the test but they wanted to put liquid in all 3 of my holes, squat, and push it out in front of i believe an xray machine and “a handful of doctors” 😭

Have you had a barium enema? They don’t do them often anymore. But let me tell you, that was torture! They fill up your backend, place a plug in there and tell you to hold on to it!😳 Strap you to a special table that flips you around in every direction so the barium coats the walls of you intestines!!🙄

my son had the last one because he had some insane constipation as an infant. biopsies for Hirshprung's came back all normal, so they did that one to test the sphincter. also normal. one day he just randomly started pooping normally when he was a year and a half or so.
