@davedoesjapan: Visiting Kyoto for the third time, I can't believe I never knew about Uji. I wanted to show my brother around Japan for his first trip and he really wanted to see Kyoto. I've been 3 times now and I wanted to see some new areas. Using ChatGPT, I asked it to give me some options that aren't too far, easy to get to, but are also relaxing and scenic. It gave me a bunch but one that stood out was Uji! This place is known for their matcha, apparently the matcha capital of Japan but many Japanese would argue that's actually Shizuoka 👀 I'm so glad we found this part of Japan and it was our favourite place we visited in our 12 day trip! #Japan #japantravel #japanese #japanesefood #japaneseculture #uji #ujimatcha
