I didn't cry at my Grandpa's funeral he was the only other male figure that I looked up to outside of my own dad It devastated me when he died but I had to be there for my mom and my uncles but when I got home after the funeral I cried like a baby my wife was in disbelief when I lost it she couldn't believe I held in all that emotion just to be strong and support for my family For everyone to talk to

Elder xennial here... I was raised like this... Dont raise your kids this way, especially your sons. Emotions are STRENGTH not weakness. It took alot of therapy for me to learn how to deal with that healthily. I learned too late, but am doing my best to help my kids learn yo be better and will teach my grandkids the best I can... Learn from the past generations failures and teach the next generation yo be even better...

We recently (2 weeks ago ) lost someone very very close,my wife, son and daughter cried almost nonstop. I never shed a tear in front of them, my daughter said after a few days “thanks for being strong, we all needed one person to hold it together because we couldn’t”.
