this is sad. my son is 7 and tells me im his best friend. I know it will only be for a while . the years are flying by so fast, I wish it would go abit slower

I came to that realization when my son turned 13. I feel like I wish I would have done more. I even tried to be aware it wouldnt last forever, and soak in every moment I had, it wasnt enough. Guess thats life, just want him to know I tried my best for him, even tho I failed in alot of ways, Ive always loved him more than myself.

Going through this with my Son & Daughter right now, it’s so hard. I’m painting their rooms just to remind them I’m still here. I have to watch from afar & in the distance, I’m so proud and yet have to realise they don’t need/want me for everything..I have to let them spread their wings but I’ll still catch them as they may fall.
