In my opinion the only thing that makes many avatar fans hate her is that we compare her show with aangs, they are in the same world and all but the Team dynamics the whole found family, medival setting and more which we loved in Atla is just not the same or not part in Korra but about a whole other story just after them, more advanced, „peaceful“ economy, betryals, more characters with complexity (?), Korras series is very good on its own but there are too many people who compare

I blame her team. Aang had Katara, Zoku, Toph, the dragon of the west, Bumi and many others who were masters of their elements and all korra got was Bolin and Maku 😭💔 Tenzin was a father and husband first before having Korra's back , the air nation although powerful they were limited by their morals(eg no killing) . Toph's oldest daughter was the only one who could measure up to the old team avatar. Her team set her back , yoh😭😭😭😭💔
