Okay i been running with bait casters sense i was little and still use one i go to fishing tournaments and always used a bait caster it doesnt matter if u tune it or not i keep mine on the loosest settings and still never back lash its all about catching it before hitting the water u cant just cast and not watch ur reel just keep your thumb on it and i can just feel it or just watch ur bait before hitting the water stop it and dont cast the hell out of it like its a competition who gets the farthest just practice
