And youre actually right about this most of them worship Mary more than Jesus but they should really worship the one and only God rather than Mary because he is the one who made us all, gave us life, and everything beautiful here. I’m a catholic and I just want to say that we don’t take Mary as a part of our salvation, we ask for her help we don’t actually say we need Mary for our salvation, it’s our choice as a catholic if we will ask for Mary’s help or not, we believe that Jesus alone is enough, it might look like we’re taking Mary as part of our salvation but no, the truth is we are asking Mary to help us in our salvation because she is the mother of Christ and Jesus grants her requests just like what he did in the wedding of Canna. I am Orthodox but we’re kinda same with Catholic so i’ll answer. We don’t pray to Mary neither worship her. We simply respect her and ask for her to send our prayers to Jesus. Its just a simple act of respect and i am sure that a man can never pray to Mary and still go to Heaven through praying to the only God. But we decided to pray to Saints ones too, to ask them to pray for us. Hope i explained myself properly, have a splendid day💟

In the catholic religion, we honor Mary because she gave birth to the Messiah, but we don’t worship her. It’s the same thing as honoring the saints. We don’t worship them, but we recognize them for their faith. I one hundred percent believe that I only need God for my salvation, I will never see Mary as any type of God. But I still honor Mary. I just don’t worship her. God has always come before Mary
