He always blamed his ADHD for why our relationship was bad. I also have ADHD. He told me to make him a list of my needs. So I did. If possible, he did even less than before. I quit, and in the period of time we had to finish the lease together, suddenly he was the perfect man, signed up for therapy, crying about how much he didn't want me to go. Yeah bye.

I went in therapy. read many books. suggested some books. she was to "busy" yet had time to binge watch SO many hrs of shows. I grew, she did not ✌️

And then when they finally do decide to change, it makes me feel worse because I’m finally getting what I want and what I needed, but it’s bitter. It’s bittersweet because the potential to be there was always there. He always had the chance to be there for me, but why does it take me threatening to leave to finally see it?

My ex sadly wasn't even blindsided about the break up...that's how much he didn't care. He knew what he was doing and stuck around just because I wasn't leaving... Now sadly have a kid with him and still pulls stunts to try and control and sadly for my son I just try and deal with it..
