1. My friends don’t reach out to me, and in the rare times they do.. it’s to talk about themselves. 2. They watch my stuff but never interact with it (yet interacts with ppl they’re not close to). 3. They don’t even support me. 4. They don’t congratulate me. 5. They befriend ppl who used to bully me. 6. Now they are no longer my friends and idgaf because I’m neurodivergent and that means out of sight, out of mind lol

Communication when it comes to adult friendships is very important for the people you deem “close”. Understand as you get older priorities change, everyone’s life looks different, but months shouldn’t go past with you not connecting with someone you see as close to you. Communication doesn’t have to be daily, but it should be intentional

We use “friend” too loosely. My friends are ppl I engage with atleast 3/4 times a week. And that involves emotional closeness. If less than that (without a specific understanding) they are “someone I know”
