When I lived in the US I was the same: Diamond Crystal and Malden. Now I live in Canada and can’t find Diamond Crystal for less than $20 a box. I need a Canadian alternative.

My salt use is the same as yours, kosher and Maldon. However I have recently been hearing that health issues are coming back because we are no longer using iodized table salt. I thought this was very interesting and wondered what your thoughts were.

I'm.watching you from Ireland and love your content. We don't really get Kosher salt here but we do get Maldon smoked salt, not sure if you have ever tried it, but it is absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for sharing all your fabulous recipes and ideas. I love them.

The Diamond Crystal/Mortons turf battle is regional, DC is weirdly hard to find on the west coast. Penzy’s used to carry a big box for like $5, but they don’t anymore and the equivalent is a tiny bag of their kosher salt for more money. Booooooo.

Hear me out: I have a massive container of Crazy Jane’s Mixed Up Salt in bulk on my counter. I use it on everything. Yes, it’s seasoned salt which is a different category but man it’s great on tomatoes, steak, veggies, etc.

I live in Washington state and we only have Morton's Kosher Salt. I believe Diamond is a East coast brand. Dang it. 😕
