i like using GPT-5 for quick writing help, but i always double-check with Winston AI before sharing. it picks up on ai-style phrasing that i sometimes miss. even when something sounds natural, it might still raise flags, so it’s a good backup tool.

guys don't do this, you only thing 4o is better cus it always agrees with you, which is good, until it isn't. I could've got food poisoning because I asked chatgpt if this pork I had could be cooked in a certainty way and it said ye it'd be fine but then I prompted further and it realised that no actually, I could've got food poisoning if I'd have cooked it that way

Three times yesterday I tried to get it to Think deeply and it couldn’t do it. It got stuck and lost on the task. There were a few times. I had to check that it was okay and it told me that there was an error but it hadn’t alerted me to the fact that it got stuck so we were both waiting. Let’s hope they iron out the glitches.

Is it just that 5 isn’t sycophantic? I loved 4 but having now done a lot of stuff with 5 it’s amazing - it won’t tell you how wonderful you are in the same way but i think it has a far greater capacity to know exactly who you are and create responses that are incredibly creative and incisive. It’s created for output - that’s its basic function and it does it fabulously well.
