lol'd. A long time ago I made up a new playable race - think Thundercats with bat wings. I called them Khatadins. But the Mantacorgis and Giraffenous cubes just are irresistible. You sparked my imagination.

Many spell components are puns though. Detect thoughts: a copper peice “penny for your thoughts”. Color Spray is just pocket sand so on and so forth

I feel like the giraffenous cube has a problem with the cube slowly falling down, so like the legs get shorter and the neck gets longer, and it has to hunch down, shake, and stand back up to readjust the cube higher up again

Okay, the Beeholder is HILARIOUS to me because my fiancé's favorite dnd monster is a beholder. But he also is SUPER allergic to stinging insects. So, it's polar opposites in my head and has me rolling for some reason. 😂
