Buy raw wool and cotton muslin herb cooking bags. Wool holds smells longer. But essential oils. Mice hate many smells. google it. Make your own. I also get a clear spray bottle, and fill the bottle with and inch of witch hazel so oil and water will stay mixed. Leave an inch of space so you can shake before spraying. Put 10-11 drops of peppermint oil, or whatever oils you like to smell. Here’s my mouse repellent spray. It works to spray on blooming flowers so feet won’t eat my flowers! I spray the bottom of my garage doors and house doors to repel bugs and mice.

I had a mouse problem a few years ago and got a cat. I have 2 cats now and mice are no longer a problem.

I did that whole peppermint thing and my one little mice didn't leave, it was in my kitchen chilling right where I put it lol the stick trap is what finally got it
