99.99999% of the golfing world couldn’t even comprehend what it took to EARN your spot there! They don’t “give them out”. Your work ethic, dedication and commitment is inspiring - and so were the efforts that got you there. The competition is the whole journey, not one 48 hour period - your “results” are far from determined! The “match” is far from over!!

I am not sure why you feel a need to explain or justify your rounds. You played a bad tournament, move on!! Anyone who has played competitive golf understands it and anyone who doesn't isn't really a tournament player. You qualified for this and earned your spot, you don't have to explain yourself!! One last thing, there are a lot of players who would have WD or NC if they were struggling like you did. It says a lot to me about a person who puts there head down and battles thru it. You will learn a lot about yourself in times like this. Dust off and get ready for your next Tournament!! PGA Club Professional
