Mainly due to he over saturation of business degrees. Unfortunately, business degrees are the first degree most people get when they don’t know what else to major in, but want to go to college

Yah, doing good in college isn’t worth nearly as much as what you do in college. Internship from a job fair is way more important that people think it is.

Business degrees are for starting businesses not applying to other businesses.

Getting a job as a recent grad depends on where you went to school, what you studied, what certifications you have, and your applied experience using those certs via internships.

Pick up the phone and “call” every recruiter; they get paid to place people. Very few care about qpa in a general business degree. Business degrees are very generic so it does take time

it makes perfect sense. a guy who bankrupted casinos, where house is rigged to always win, is put in charge of the most complex economy in history of the world.

Have you ever worked before? Places don’t want to hold your hand and show you how to clock in and how the be an employee you need the bare minimum experience still,

It doesn't make sense to you now at 22 years old. But it will later when you look back on it.

Are you taking resumes in person? At your age there are people who don't know how to dress, speak professionally, or don't know they shouldn't bring their mom to the interview. You look and speak like you could impress the receptionist. Believe it or not, the receptionist gives their impressions to HR. That in person impression means a lot. I was the one hiring for a long time.

I can almost guarantee that you’re applying to jobs using the means that everyone does by applying to hundreds or thousands of job postings on sites like indeed and LinkedIn. This is pointless and a waste of time. You need someone to get your foot in the door. Read ken coleman’s the proximity principle for some guidance on this

Rather than sending out a thousand random applications I would narrow it down to a few target companies, learn about the company, attach a cover letter saying how much you want to work for the company and why and you would like the opportunity to demonstrate in person what you can’t tell from a sheet of paper. And if you don’t get the job, send a follow up letter thanking them for their time, again stating how much you want to work for the company and to keep you in mind for any future openings. That’s what I would do. I took a low paying temp job to get my foot into a company I wanted to work in and it turned into a career for me.
