They’re called sebaceous filaments and it’s a buildup of sebum (oil produced in the skin) and dead skin cells. It oxidizes when it hits the oxygen in the air giving them that dark color. Salicylic acid bc it’s lipophilic (fat or oil loving) is an excellent and cheap way to manage their buildup and appearance. It can be drying so apply it after you moisturize to mitigate that. There’s no cure all but salicylic acid is great way to manage them and minimize their appearance.

That’s not gunk, that’s the product. There’s something in it to make it ball up like that when you rub it.

My nose pores is why I stopped wearing makeup. They just got bigger and makeup never looks ok EVER, not even with primer and not after exfoliating either.

You actually NEED that gunk in your nose, it keeps the skin hydrated and the more you remove that ‘gunk’, the bigger your pores will become
