honestly thank you so much for this! I have two clients with these and they've always used oven cleaner on them and each time they have me clean them they look sooooo tarnished 😭(I use power wash with one and degreaser for the other as that's what she's requested) I don't think I can undo what they've done

Yikes, this scared me a little! 😅 I just cleaned mine last week, so I’m glad I looked it up. Seems like repeated use is the main risk, but most sources still say avoid pumice stones altogether, even gently. Thanks for sharing — it definitely made me more aware!
