Snapped many ropes on Darmani lids. When the floors are dry they are easy to sweep but man oh man is it hell on earth when the floors get wet

Darmani manufacturing is about 25 min from our farm. Called em on pricing this year and never got a call back. Putting up a CCIL bin. Put up a couple last year pretty much just a westeel

We took out the aeration tubes and hydraulics and put a pre made retro fit kit on the doors, we unload with a auger or grain vac, Do agree the lids are horrible.

I would way rather have a goebel than a darmani. Could be just me but the darmani in my opinion are absolute junk, yeah they hold grain but just absolutely despise the darmani. Would take a westeel over both

I hated climbing to close the lids so much I put up another rope to close them. Tied it to the lid and ran it down the front of the bin. And of course they close by them selves way more since I’ve done that too 😂

i got talked into the flat bottoms by darmani. they are garbage. the hyd sweeps are even more garbage. plus they don’t stand behind anything. the rubber vents are all rotten and garbage too.

i have the 20k darmani ones and other than the drag system ive had good luck...but because of drag system we try our hardest to not use them..id like someone to tell me of a replacement system that would work well.

I used to build the goebel bins for viterra they were garbage cheap thin steel and the bolt holes would tare when you try to line them up with a punch
